BREAKING - Riteish Deshmukh to direct Raja Shivaji, a movie on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj; Jio Studios and Genelia Deshmukh join them

On the auspicious occasion of Shivaji Jayanti, Jio Studios officially blazoned a royal cinematic saga – Raja Shivaji, a movie grounded on the life and heritage of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Marking a significant moment in Indian cinema, the biopic will be piloted by actor- turned- director Riteish Deshmukh andco-produced by his woman , Genelia Deshmukh.

Participating his sincere feelings, Riteish Deshmukh expressed; In the annals of history, there emerges a figure who transcends bare mortal actuality — a legend, an icon, an eternal honey of alleviation. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj isn't a bare literal figure; he's an emotion, a dateless saga of valor, and a lamp of stopgap that has illuminated hearts for over three and a half centuries.

He further added, “ Our deepest aspiration has always been to perpetuate his admiration- inspiring trip on the epic oil of cinema — a trip of grand proportions, depicting the rise of a boy who defied the insurmountable, sparking the dears of Swarajya.
