In a bittersweet advertisement, actor Mohit Malik participated a post on his Instagram handle about the impending conclusion of his cherished show Baatein Kuch Ankahee Si, slated to go off air on March 11. Despite the show’s pious fanbase and wide sun, the decision to end its run rests solely with the channel, leaving Malik and hisco-stars with mixed feelings. The decision has been taken by the channel and it’s not in my hands, I'm just an actor, ” he expresses, adding, “ I'm getting so numerous dispatches from suckers asking me, ‘ Why, why? ’ but I do n’t have any answer. Just being honest that I did my stylish and the whole crew worked really hard, I do n’t know why this has to be.

All I can do is just accept it because I do n’t have any control over this. It was the channel’s call to do this. They want further TRPs, they've advanced prospects and parameters, perhaps it was n’t matching that. ”

It was n’t accumulative like other shows and had a different story. It was a mix of majestic and massy. I would have said on my own if it was n’t working. You get to know when the story isn't that great, you aren't enjoying the work or entering the love, you feel that the show should go off air, I'm like that. still, I feel sad because this bone was working. It was doing so well, it surely hurts, ” the 40- time-old shares.

TRP is what matters. “ We really have to understand that TRPs are each about the millions. We suppose that we know, but nothing actually knows what they like and suppose. But everybody has pressure on their heads, including the directors.
